These runes are based on an ancient European alphabet that was used by tribes to tell stories and poetry as well as in fortune telling and divination. Despite being an alphabet, runes were never spoken; instead they were thought of as magical symbols with each possessing a specific attribute. Our runes are handmade in Bali and come presented in a pouch.
