long Celtic cross wall plaque
-
This striking cross has been hand carved in the style of a Celtic cross and features intricate interlace detailing.
A popular legend in Ireland suggests that this sort of cross was created by Saint Patrick whilst he was converting the pagan Irish to Christianity. The theory is that Saint Patrick created the cross to combine Christianity with the ancient sun cross, giving his pagan constituents a link between their religion and the new Christian movement.
Our Celtic crosses are hand made by skilled artisans on the island of Bali in Indonesia and feature a metal ring on the reverse for the ease of hanging on your wall.
